We have an entire system to train you and we are looking for self-starting individuals who want to work hard to be successful. This position includes: customer service, sales, marketing, coaching, exercising, motivating and holding the client accountable. Requirements are a willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
If you are chosen for this coaching position you will begin learning our proven method and developing your skills and client base right away with the best trainers and coaches in the area. You will be provided with full support and the best training in the industry, plus you will be given a complete road map with a clear vision of how you can achieve your goals and dreams.
Who should apply?
We are very specific about the type of individuals we will accept as trainers at our club, because we know who will be successful based on our experience and criteria. Please do not apply for this opportunity if you do not currently have a source of income. Most of our trainers start on a part-time basis because they have other jobs, but their passion is fitness. Big health clubs will not generally hire trainers without experience or training. Because we provide both experience and training, we are able to take the time to mentor our trainers which in turn insures that they will become the best trainers in the industry. We are not interested in wasting your time if you do not meet our criteria.
We are looking for.
1.)Professional individuals who may currently have a full-time, or part-time job, but are passionate about fitness, helping others, and initially working part time in the Personal Training field in order to gain knowledge and build a successful clientele.
2.) Students who are studying a health science in school, or are passionate about becoming the best trainer possible while still attending school and working part-time as a personal trainer.
3.) Older adults re-entering the workforce who have a passion for fitness, and another means to financially support themselves while building their clientele.
4.) Individuals who are willing to invest a small amount of time and money into their passion and education in order to separate themselves from the majority of under qualified trainers currently employed in the fitness industry.
5.) You must live in the proximity of our health club located in Uxbridge Ontario.

Sport conditioning has become a crucial component of any GOOD training program in order to optimize performance. Most athletes work out in preparation of their competition season to make sure their body is in shape to withstand the grind of any sport season. So what makes this program different?? A colleague of mine sent me an article that really didn’t surprise me but it did validate everything we preach in our coaching programs.
The New York Times recently published the results of a study out of Arizona State University. Basically they had female volunteers exercise on a treadmill 3 times per week for 12 weeks at 80% of their Target Heart Rate.
The results: Almost 70% of the women got fatter! Not just gained weight but added fat.
Although it would have been very disappointing to these volunteers, it’s MUSIC TO MY EARS!
Here is why.
Steady state cardio alone doesn’t work! In order to increase the way your body burns fat you MUST adjust your diet and do resistance training. The diet will help get your hormones back in check and the resistance training will increase muscle mass which will increase your basal metabolic rate (BMR – the number of calories your body burns at rest).
So, if you are starting your New Years Resolution, don’t just hop on a cardio machine or take a cardio based fitness class. Getting a good sweat on from just doing that won’t help. Pick up the weights and work your muscles. Then take a good hard look at your diet and adjust it accordingly.
If it just seems too over whelming because you don’t know where to start but don’t want to waste your time either, talk to one of our coaches. It’s what we do. We have lots of affordable options that will get you the results you want.
