I signed up for the 6 week challenge because I was not happy with the way I was starting to look. I was going through a lot with my Chronic pain, I needed something to give me that extra push. I was definitely very nervous to sing up, but before signing up for the challenge I got some iv therapy to help with my chronic pain.
Signing up for the challenge was the best thing I have done for myself. It was very challenging and definitely took a lot of discipline to stay on track. The challenge was not easy. I struggled with the pain of working out and watching other people around me eating foods that I loved. My biggest struggle was the pain from working out in the first few weeks. It didn’t start to go away until the last few weeks of the challenge.
The first week I was starting to feel more energy and feeling a lot better. I was struggling with being tired and sick all the time. Since I started the challenge I had been feeling a lot better. I have not been sick or feeling like I was before. I was very depressed with what I looked like and I needed to do something about it. I couldn’t run and I used to love running.
Since I started the challenge, I can run again and it feels amazing. I have gained strength again and I can tell my body has changed. It feels amazing to fit back into my pants again. The training and circuits were very tiring, but in the end, I was able to do them without stopping and I was able to lift more weights.
The challenge has definitely changed my perspective on being healthy and working out. Thank you to Meghan and Christina for pushing and supporting me in completing the 6 week challenge! Thank you to my family who supported me as I needed all the support I could get!
Thanks,
Heather Hornov
